At Novaphene, we believe that real progress happens when every individual in society gets an equal chance to grow. That’s why we are incredibly proud to announce our corporate social responsibility initiative dedicated to women’s empowerment in the backward area of Dahanu, where a group of hardworking and determined women are creating change through their skills and dedication.

A step towards Financial Independence 

These women of Kosbad Hill, Dahanu are not just homemakers; they are skilled artisans with a vision. They have come together to form a dedicated group, creating beautiful, handmade handloom products- from elegant tote bags and practical pouches to vibrant Warli Painting tote bags and handy tiffin bags.

Most of them are women who want to do something beyond household work. They want to learn, grow, and build a better life for themselves and their families.

They have rented a small workspace and have a few sewing machines. But despite limited resources, their passion and willingness to stand on their own feet is inspiring.

Our Contribution

Their journey, however, faced challenges. They were operating from a small, rented space with limited, old equipment. To ensure our contribution would create the most lasting impact. Novaphene proudly partnered with this Srujana Charitable Trust, an organization dedicated to creating dignified livelihood opportunities for unprivileged women.

Through this collaboration, Novaphene provided a substantial financial donation that will be the catalyst for the real transformation.

This contribution is directly impacting their lives in several critical ways:

1. Our donation means the group can now acquire modern, high-quality sewing machines. This upgrade will significantly boost their production capacity and the finish of their products, allowing them to take on larger orders and compete more effectively in the market, exhibitions, etc.

2. The dream of owning their workspace is now closer to reality. Our support will help them secure a permanent place of their own, providing a stable, dedicated environment for their craft and community.

3. They can now invest in better quality raw materials, ensuring their beautiful handlooms are made to last, further increasing their product value and customer satisfaction.

More than just a donation:

By providing these resources, we are directly fueling the aspirations of women who want to break free from limitations.
