At Novaphene, we believe that everyone deserves a fair chance to shine. Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of support to turn talent into a success story.

That is why we are so proud to help fund the growth of Jijau in Chembur, Mumbai, a wonderful group of women who put their heart and soul into making handmade purses, pouches, key chains, and essential items like sanitary napkins.

Meeting the Artisans

When we first met the women at Jijau, we saw two things immediately: incredible skill and hard work. They have magic in their hands. But we also saw that they were struggling with old tools and limited resources. They were working very hard, but not getting the results—or the income—they deserved. We wanted to change that.

How We Are Helping

We didn’t just want to donate money and walk away. We wanted to help build a foundation for their future. Our contribution is going towards improvements that will make their daily lives easier and their work better:

Better Tools: We are funding new machinery. This means the women don’t have to struggle with slow, manual tools. The work becomes faster and less tiring.

Better Materials: To sell a good product, you need good ingredients. We are connecting them buy high-quality raw materials from better vendors. This means the purses will last longer and look even more beautiful.

A Happy Workplace: No one can work well if they aren’t comfortable. Part of our support is going toward fixing up their workspace—adding better amenities so they feel safe, respected, and happy while they work.

Changing Lives, Not Just Business

This initiative is about more than just making keychains or pouches.

When these women have better machines, they can make more products in less time. When they have a better workplace, they feel proud to come to work. And when they sell higher-quality products, they earn more money to support their families and send their children to school.

For us, this isn’t just a donation. It is an investment in hope, dignity, and a brighter future for these amazing women.
